Enjoy a stay at a stunning cottage in the historic district of Breckenridge. Located just 3.5 blocks from Main Street and 2 blocks to a free shuttle stop you have very easy access to all that Breckenridge has to offer.
On the main floor, you enter and find the open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a TV with cable and Blu Ray player, and the kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils that you will need to prepare meals and snacks during your stay. The dining room table can seat 8 people and there are 2 additional chairs at the kitchen bar. On this level, there is a King bedroom with TV, cable, and Blu Ray player. A bath with a tub/shower combination is just across the hall for your convenience. The couch in the living is a pull out queen sleeper sofa for additional bedding. Off the kitchen and dining area is a patio/deck that has a private hot tub and barbeque grill.
Upstairs is a master bedroom with King bed, TV with cable and Blu Ray, and ensuite bath that has a shower. There is also a bunk room that has two sets of bunk beds. One has a twin on top and queen on bottom, and the other set has a twin on top with a twin on bottom. For your convenience, there is a TV, Cable, XBox 360, and Blu Ray player as well. There is a bathroom in the hall that this room can utilize that has a shower.

We had 11 people in our group and this house fit our needs so perfectly. It was absolutely amazing. Adults and kids all enjoyed the layout and entertainment. I would highly recommend this home to anyone with the location and conveniences available.

The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked and thoughtfully provided with extras that a traveler may not have remembered to pack. The living and kitchen area made for great family time and housed two families very comfortably. Dipping in the outdoor hot tub on a freezing, cold day was especially memorable. Ideally located, we were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops easily. We look forward to returning to Breckenridge and staying at the Chalet Montagne!

★★★★★ Go ahead and slip into your cozy socks and get ready to relax at this charming cottage in the mountains! Our family of six (kids ranging from 3-10) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were never crowed yet found the home offered us ways to connect. We visited in the summer months and were able to enjoy the extensive backyard area that is shared by several cottages-- the neighbors were so welcoming that we were even invited to join in the 4th of July cookout! We walked to parks and into town for dinner and when the weather wasn't perfect we were able to play games in the living room and even enjoy the hot tub in the rain! The kids thought it was so funny! The homeowners have provided an exceptionally clean environment that promotes relaxation and family and fun-- for us it was a winning combination and we can't wait to get back!
The Chalet Montagne was great. The best place I have ever been. My friend and I had a great time. The house was convenient to town and very nicely furnished. I can hardly wait to go again.
Wow! I wish I could be really clever and top what the property description and other reviews have said here. Yes it is ever so clean, cozy, charming, all conveniences provided; but, I have three more words: location, Location, LOCATION!!! We can walk to a different restaurant every meal, shop at a store that carries all my needed organics and not have to cruise looking for parking! I feel as if I'm in Mr.Rogers Neighbor. The neighbors are so interesting and fun. This is where we go to get away especially when Texas is too hot.

The bedrooms are big and the beds are great. 3 blocks from Main Street keeps you in the middle of fun but without all the noise. Our family loved the stay.
★★★★★ Great place right in town! We loved our long weekend at this home. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable; it's also quite a coup to find a home in town with two king beds! The kids' bunk room was also amazing. The property was sparkling clean, and we appreciated that things like paper towels, shampoo, and some staples (olive oil, salt, etc) were part of the basic provided amenities. The hot tub was lovely. Great fireplace and overall cozy vibe. Highly recommend, and will come back again if we have the opportunity. Management company is also incredibly responsive and great to work with.
Our family decided on a last minute fall break trip for some R&R. It was my husband and I, our two teenage children, and our black Lab. This place did not disappoint! For starters, the house was unbelievably clean - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and the hot tub. We used to have a hot tub and know the maintenance required and how it can get so dirty so fast - but I swear you could practically drink out of this one. The location was perfect! As noted it was a really short walk into town, but it was enough away that it was so quiet and peaceful. The beds were extremely comfortable. All my husband talked about was how great he slept while up there (and he is usually very picky about his mattress). I thought there would be a fight between the kids over who gets the other king size bed, but the Xbox in the bunk room quickly made my son decide he would prefer that room. The four of us took time to decompress and watch movies together, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and all be comfortable in the living room (that green chair was amazing - I claimed that one!). There was some nice green space behind the house for the dog, plus a lot of places just around the area where we could take him walking. The instructions provided to us at the time of booking were accurate and easy to follow and we did not have a single problem our entire trip. We never once had to contact the after hours, so I have no idea how responsive they are, but I can only guess based on how great of a job they did with everything else that they would be easy to work with. I can't wait to head back up to Breckenridge so we can stay here again. It was so much better than renting a condo and I really felt at home. If the owners ever decide to sell, be sure to let us know because this place is gem! Thank you for letting us stay.

One cannot beat the ability to quickly walk to town and restaurants. Love the Briar Rose! We would definitely booked this property again.
The Chalet Montagne was the nicest rental we have used in Breckenridge to date. It was accurate to its description, well-stocked and very convenient in its location to Main St. River Ridge Rentals was a pleasure to work with and most prompt in responding to any inquiries. Breckenridge is certainly the jewel of the Colorado Rockies. For cuisine we enjoy South Ridge Seafood Grill, Hearthstone, Twist, La Francaise, Empire Burger and Amazing Grace. In the summer, sitting by the river enjoying the sun, road biking through the mountains, shopping the great shops--Nature's Own is great--or just enjoying exploring the history of the town is all most memorable.
★★★★★ The four of us and our 2 small dogs found this beautiful home for our winter ski trip. Only 3 blocks from Main St., this made it very easy to leave our vehicles parked at the house. Very warm, had everything we needed. Photos are exactly how the home looks. Our dogs loved it as well. While staying, don't forget to take a short trip to Frisco where we had some awesome Cajun food at The Lost Cajun (has a great story to tell) and breakfast at The Log Cabin Cafe. Both were great. Visit an outlet mall in Dillon/Silverthorne just down I70. We happened to be there when the Ullr Festival was happening, that was exciting. We only had 1 problem and we were assured the policy has now been changed for future vacationers traveling with pets. We never read (should of) that the hot tub would have a maintenance, chemicals kept inside, so when some of our family returned from skiing, the door was not closed all the way and one of our dogs could of escaped. We were lucky, but wish we had known. I called right away and was assured their policy has now been changed and some one will call first and if rented, they will carry their chemicals with them. I appreciate their fast reply, but wanted to mention those traveling with pets, please be aware. We will keep this property in our files for future family ski trips because the house had everything we needed and so close to Main St. (P.S. You have to have a crepe at Crepes a la Cart on Main St., the best, went twice myself.)
