Falcon Mews Lodge is located on land that was mined with the use of a water cannon during the Breckenridge Gold Rush years. The original Mews was a small A-Frame cabin built in 1967 by the current owner’s family while stationed at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The name Falcon Mews is a tribute to the USAFA mascot and refers to the building where birds used in the sport of falconry were kept. This brand new home has custom touches throughout that pay tribute to the property’s past including the original mine siding found on the kitchen center island as well as the early 1970's era Breckenridge Ski Company logo in the tiled entryway.

★★★★★ Incredible home and location.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Falcon Mews. More than enough room for everyone. The house was stocked well with dishes, utensils, appliances and towels.
★★★★★ We stayed for a long weekend getaway with a big group of people for a college reunion. The house was absolutely stunning, especially the views from the front porch. The house is huge and everything is new and nicely decorated. I highly recommend staying here to anyone and everyone! Loved Breckenridge and can't wait to go back every year and stay here!
★★★★★ I stayed with some friends at Falcon Mews for 5 days. It was a wonderful experience. The home was stocked with ample kitchen supplies, bathroom towels and soap, and blankets. The hot tub fit everyone! The view was pretty incredible. Hopefully I can book this spot for my next trip to Breck!
★★★★★ Great place. We had a large group and there was plenty of space for all of us. The large deck and great view made it so fun to enjoy the sunny days at Breck. High end appliances and a large kitchen with lots of seating. Great place for us!!! We will be back!!!!!!!!!
★★★★★ This was such an accommodating cabin to stay in while we vacationed with a large group. There was more than enough room to sleep and socialize with one another in the living room. It had a fantastic view while also being a short distance to town. The hot tub was great to return to after skiing all day. Overall would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to vacation in the area!
★★★★★ We stayed at this lovely home for a reunion with a few girlfriends from college! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of skiing. We had so much fun hanging out in the hot tub, going to the town center (just a short drive), and catching up. The kitchen comes fully equipped with more than enough dishes, utensils, and silverware for everyone. The rooms were spacious and the views were incredible. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home!
★★★★★ Amazing home! Very spacious and clean. Perfect fit for our large group. Bedrooms were comfortable, not cramped. The outside deck and hot tub were perfect for sunny days and cold nights. The kitchen was huge, with top of the line appliances. Overall we had an amazing experience in this house and visiting Breckinridge.
★★★★ The house overall was wonderful - lots of space for 6 kids and 6 adults. The proximity to the hot tub was great, the bunk room was amazing. The only downfall was the water pressure. We seemed to have trouble with that in the upstairs bathroom and the kitchen. Not the whole time, just in spurts. But other than that - beautiful house.
★★★★ The home was beautiful and clean. The main living area (kitchen, great room) is very spacious and accommodated our group well. The kitchen was well stocked for our daily huge breakfast before hitting the slopes. The bedrooms were sufficient, but felt very cramped. For the size of the home, the bedrooms were rather small (except the large bunk on the Lower Level). The bathrooms are a nice size and there was plenty of closet space. We truly enjoyed the hot tub on the deck after a long day of skiing. I have to say that the home is located on the lot in a strange way. You never see the front of the house use the front door. The driveway leads you to the rear of the house (but faces the street) and you enter through the garage in the basement. Just be prepared to lug groceries and luggage up the stairs each time. The home is a short drive to Main Street and the gondola. We enjoyed many restaurants during our stay (Blue Ridge Bistro, Hearth Stone, Downstairs at Eric's, etc...). Main Street is not within walking distance FYI. The rental company was a breeze to work with while making reservations and even allowed a late check out time within 24 hours of our departure. You must have a 4-wheel drive in the winter. Even with that being said...... we managed to get both of our Suburbans stuck one morning after a beautiful snowfall.
★★★★★ The home is beautiful. 8 adults stayed. More than enough room. Staff at Rental agency very accommodating. Would recommend anytime. Will stay again Fantastic view Only draw back is not ski in ski out. The amenities make up for not being slope side
We spent New Years at Falcon Mews and our kids said it was the best New Years Ever (their ages are 15-21 - so they have some history!). The home is beautiful - spacious and comfortable. We a total of 12 people staying and there was plenty of room. My favorite feature is the view of Breckenridge - to wake up every morning and see that view - it was amazing. I also loved the layout of the main floor - the kitchen is brand new and so so easy to work in you can see and talk with those comfortably lounging by the fire.
Plenty of space for everyone to lounge and sleep as well. It was a great trip and we hope to return again soon!
★★★★★ My fiancÚ and I have actually stayed at the property twice already! It is absolutely a beautiful well maintained home with all the amenities you could dream of for a ski vacation. The house is perfectly layed out for multiple families or a large group of friends. The hot tub with views of the mountain is the perfect spot! If we could give it more than 5 stars we would
We stayed at this beautiful property in September 2015 -- it is absolutely gorgeous! Everything is brand new and was done top notch! It is so comfortable and inviting, and we highly recommend it. You're in for a treat! The location is only minutes away from downtown Breckenridge and yet provides privacy and beautiful views in the home - the best of both worlds! Can't wait to go back!
