This beautiful townhome property is located just 1 1/2 blocks from the Breck Connect gondola! It has great views and a private hot tub! When you enter this home you are greeted by a warm living area with 2 comfortable sofas, TV, fireplace, and fantastic views. Adjacent to the living area is the kitchen offering stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a bar area with seating for 4. There is also seating for 6 in the beautiful rustic style dining room. Between the dining area and living area is access to the balcony which offers a barbecue grill, hot tub, and more great views (sorry not much room for seating with the hot tub and grill). In addition, there is a Xbox 360 at this property for a couple games after a good day outside in the fresh mountain air.
Up one level is the sumptuous master suite which offers a King bed, desk, TV, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual sinks.
Downstairs are the other three bedrooms, the first one being the second master which offers a King bed and private bath. The next bedroom offers a King bed and TV and there is a bathroom across the hall for use by this bedroom. There is also a kids room on this level that offers a bunk bed with a twin on top and full on the bottom.
This home's excellent location is perfect for people coming to Breckenridge to ski, hike, bike, or just visit the town. It has quick and easy access to the gondola or the shuttle and is just a short walk into town. It is so central to everything that everyone will be delighted by its location and it is the perfect place to come home to after a day about Breckenridge!

You do need to prepare for a bit of a walk to the gondola with your equipment. We didn't mind this walk, but it is a factor in convenience. Breakenridge is a massive mountain and staying at 66 Cucumber Patch made our trip an unforgettable vacation!

We have stayed here - I think this was the 4th time in the past 4 years (maybe it's 5 times now). Always look forward to returning. First class property, and the management team is excellent - responds to every need before you arrive, and if anything at all comes up during your stay, no matter how minor, they are right on top of it. We stayed during the off-season in October, but it would be perfect any time of year. Close walk to town in the spring/summer/fall, and close walk to Gondola for skiing in the winter.

★★★★★ This is one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at - from the location, the furnishings and the amenities. The house is well furnished, clean, spacious and very comfortable beds. The house is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, the bathroom (towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash) and the laundry.
The house layout is great. It is over 3 levels. On the main level is a nice kitchen with an open plan living/dining area with comfortable lounges and plenty of seating at the dining table. Off this area is the deck which has a grill and hot tub. The hot tub takes up all of the deck - this would be nice in winter after a day of skiing but in summer it is a little shame that you can't sit out on the deck for an afternoon drink or have any meals there. Upstairs is the huge master bedroom and bathroom. Then downstairs are 3 big bedrooms - 1 bedroom has an ensuite, another bathroom and the laundry cupboard. The house has a large 2 car garage with internal entry.
The location is perfect. It is about 200 yards from the gondola mid station so there is very easy access up to Peak 7 & 8 and down to the town. You could stay here and not need a car. The gondola cruises past the house but is no way invasive. The house is in a very quiet location - very few cars drive past and even less people so you get a very good night rest. This is a town home we would definitely stay in again.
For summertime activities I would recommend the Vail Pass bike ride - great scenery and it is all downhill!!! If you want an extra workout ride back from Frisco to Breck. Go for a hiking at Spruce Creek/Mowhawk Lake trail - it is a 7 mile hike and is pretty strenuous due to the altitude but very worth it. If you are travelling with young kids (my were 4 & 2 yrs) then the free gondola is the greatest free entertainment around - we rode it every day and got to see a moose right under the gondola path!!!
