★★★★★ Absolutely loved our stay. Property was better than we expected and better than the pictures.
Absolutely loved our stay. No complaints at all.
★★★★★ Great property! Very conveniently located for Peak 9 and the Gondola We had spend a week at Breckenridge... 5 adults and 7 kids... Everyone had a wonderful time. The property was exceptional...large, expanded floor-plan. Extremely convenient---about 3 miles from Peak 9 and the town of Breckenridge (where we used the North Parking Lot), as well as the Gondola (where we used the South Parking Lot). Excellent construction details throughout the house. From the large spaces & playroom for the kids, to the many amenities in the kitchen area (6 burner cooking top, trash compactor, dual sink, large walk in pantry), to the 3 fireplaces (1 in the living room and 2 in the main sleeping suites), to the hot tub and fire-pit area, to the BBQ grill by the kitchen, to the heated garage. Sitting outside by the fire-pit in the evening and watching the sun set above the mountain-tops created some great memories. Highly recommend the property to future vacationers!
★★★★★ A stunning lodge with a stunning panama of views. River Ridge Rentals promised us stunning and they delivered!. From beginning to end, they could not have been more helpful and efficient. The website is a joy to look through and simplicity itself to use. The booking process was, again, clear and simple.
Mountain View Lodge was the perfect base for our holiday. All the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and we all enjoyed the games room with the foosball and pool table. The hot tub also had plenty of use, with views of the
mountains to enjoy as the sun descended behind them.
We were two families, with four children and five adults. It was our first visit to Breckenridge, but it will definitely not be the last.
When booking a holiday and doing your due diligence; getting accurate reviews is essential. It is without hesitation that I recommend River Ridge Rentals as my agency of choice for any future holidays in Breckenridge.
★★★★★ Home is very good clean
★★★★★ Positives: Home is very well laid out for a group of couples. All bedrooms fit two people comfortably. The living and entertainment rooms are well equipped and laid out; loved the surround system upstairs. The kitchen is well designed also and great for cooking and easy to clean up. Downsides: Only one (small) refrigerator in the kitchen (there is small beverage refrigerator in bar/entertainment room) which for the size of the home and for the number of people it can host is not large enough to fit the groceries...we had groceries that spoiled due to lack of refrigeration space. The bunk room on the main floor only has one option for a bathroom, which is to share the master bathroom, which doesn't allow for privacy. The garage is deep, but not very wide so tough to fit two large sized vehicles. The driveway is not heated so during snowy conditions vehicles can easily loose control and get stuck.
★★★★★ We visited Breckenridge from June 30th to July 7, 2015 and stayed at the Mountain View Lodge.
The Mountain View Lodge was all that we expected it to be. The home was spacious, clean, and very well appointed.
We were 3 families, including 3 children, ages 5, 7, 9. The lower level with the large screen RV and video games got a lot of use. So much to do in the room - a pool table, an arcade video game with multiple old time games on it, and a foosball table.
We really appreciated the number of bathrooms, ans it made it easy for all of us to get ready in the morning, all at the same time. It was very nice to have a welcome package with coffee, etc. from the property managers. This is a great way to make travelers welcome. The kitchen was well stock and so large that it took us awhile to locate where everything was in the cabinets and drawers. We were very excited to find fishing poles (especially the small ones for the kids) in the garage. This should be highlighted in your description, to help renters avoid the hassle of bringing fishing equipment. Renting a large pontoon boat with a grill on it, was a fun adventure on the Dillon Reservoir, although fish were scarce.
The house is in a great location to access Breckenridge, Frisco, and numerous activities. Of course we took in the Breck 4th of July parade, art fair, and fireworks. One day we drove to Avon to see a local rodeo. Make reservations in advance as it was only one day in the week we were there. We also went to Copper Mt. and found that they had numerous children & family things to do.
We rode bumper cards, bumper boats on the pond, rented scooters, did rock climbing, and did the bungee jump in the main plaza.
We have visited Breckenridge in the past and realized that we needed to acclimate to the altitude, especially in doing any climbing and lifting. This time we found the O2 Lounge, that is an Oxygen Bar, which really helped one of us. Also, we found that you could buy small containers of Oxygen at gas stations in the area.
The only recommendations that we would make to the owners is to provide stronger WiFi in the house. Either get a newer, faster router, or install a couple of plug in boosters in the house. An inexpensive investment to make all ages of renters in this digital age.
Also, we would suggest that you provide an expanded list of TV channels, such as ESPN an other sport channels. Seem that it would be a small cost for such a luxury rental.
★★★★★ From first glance at the pictures, we knew that the Mountain View Lodge was the perfect place. The property staff provided tons of information along with instructions of what to expect. Upon arriving, we found the property to be truly AMAZING. The pictures are great but this property is gorgeous. And the views WOW. Nestled up on the hillside, the house is maintained immaculately.
The house is laid out to accommodate small to large groups. You feel like you each have your own private resort. The large kitchen and eating areas provide ample space. The large downstairs den is excellent for entertaining the entire group. We enjoyed spending the sunset looking at the mountain views from the hot tub.
The house is close to Breckenridge and we made great use of our shopping skills. Then came back relaxed played pool, a few video games and talked for hours. This house made us not want to leave.
This is one place you definitely do not want to miss out on. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.
