Our family of 6- adult children and one dog had a fantastic stay at the River House Chalet. Spotless, well appointed and a perfect location. High end kitchen was well equipped- we cooked most meals there. Even with the Chalet’s downtown location, the unit was quiet. Great views from the back deck and good people watching! Hot tub was fantastic after a day on the slopes. I highly recommend this property and will stay here again. River Ridge Management communicated well and were always available. Thanks for an amazing place for our ski vacation.

Prime Location
Arrived on 2026-01-01 | Kyle P.Our stay was great! This place is an unbelievably prime location - right across the street from the gondola and just off Main Street. The place is much bigger than shown in the pictures, too. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The private hot tub that overlooked the gondola was also a great plus for some post-mountain soaks.There were some minor issues with unclean sheets on one of the beds and wet towels left in the dryer but overall our stay was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

The house was just as pictured, clean, and could not have been any closer to the gondola. The only downside was the food service and trash trucks service the restaurants next door at 4:30AM every day.

This is a great location. You are just off of Main street and a very short walk to the lift. The unit is unique and fun. The master is spacious and extremely well done. The kitchen on the lower level is small and cozy, but very adequate for a party of 4-6. We travel extensively and over 150 days/year. We stay in many hotels and rentals. This unit was better equipped with amenities than any we've seen - shower amenities, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. But, the big plus is River Ridge Rentals. Never before have we had better communication with a host company. The service is absolutely over the top!! They were the best and the new bar by which we will measure all going forward.

Wonderful Thanksgiving in the Mountains
Arrived on 2024-11-27 | Gail F.We had a terrific few days at the chalet! Location was awesome, just steps from the gondola and right on Main St walkable to shops and restaurants. Photos well represented the home. Very comfortable. And we were able to check in early and get a late checkout which was highly appreciated. Team was very responsive. Only constructive feedback is to put house numbers on the building as we inadvertently entered the wrong home as there’s no signage. And there were hardly any clothes hangers in any closets and only one throw blanket so would be nice to have several throws in the two living areas. We would love to return to this property in the future!

Great stay!
Arrived on 2023-12-27 | Audrey L.My small family and I loved the stay here. Plenty of space and outdoor areas. Two parking spots right in front of the house. The location is amazing - you can literally walk everywhere. The gondola is in your backyard and takes about 5 minutes to get to (plus it’s free). You’re surrounded by food and also have a full kitchen and fridge if you choose to stay in. The grocery store is about an eight minute walk. I would love to come back and if I do I would try to stay here again! Definitely recommend.

The location and staff were great with every question we had, but the kitchen had almost zero cooking utensils and the pots and pans desperately need replacing. The kitchen needs a quick trip to TJ Maxx for some staples like mixing bowls and cutting boards. Only other complaint is the lack of snow removal. We walked across Ice from the time we got out of our car through walking up the steps to get in. Thankfully no one slipped and fell.

Property was very nice with close proximity to the gondola, breakfast and dining options. Management company were very professional yet friendly and were eager to assist in preparation for arrival, as well as during our stay! They helped us with an issue we had quickly and followed up to ensure we were good. The unit we stayed in was well done. We will come again!

This location can NOT be beat, but a little more TLC to the unit needs to happen. It would have been nice to also have access to the hot tub out the back door where we had to watch others enjoy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
