Snowshoe out from the back yard in a national forest, take the quick trip into town, or head to the slopes – Moonstone Lodge is the perfect spot for starting any type of adventure.

We had a great time at Moonstone lodge. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. The patio and hot tub were perfect for the evening and the fact that it was covered was super clutch the evening it rained. It's a short drive from town but still definitely feels secluded. Would highly recommend!

Lovely home. It was perfect for a large family. The game room was a hit with the kids. We also enjoyed the views of the mountains. Two things to keep in mind .... the kitchen is a little tight for family cooking. Also, the driveway can be tricky to get up ... you will need a 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway.

Very well maintained home, clean and lots of fun to stay in. We had a small issue with our refrigerator but it was resolved quickly. Quick response and great communication from the management company. Close proximity to downtown Breckenridge but far enough to give you the peace and quiet you want.

Great Ski Home for a Family!

We had a great stay at Moonstone Lodge this winter! the house is located about 5 minutes from Main St in a nice neighborhood above town. The house is nicely furnished, has plenty of space, a garage and wonderful hot tub. The kitchen was also fully stocked with everything one would need to cook meals as we did often. River Ridge did a great job responding to our few requests during the stay and their check-in and check-out process was very easy. Only item to note, if you come in the winter you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The driveway is very steep with a switchback. They plow regularly but 4WD is a must. Hope to be back again!

This was our second time staying at Moonstone. We love the location, amenities and views. It’s nice having 3 king size beds. We did have a couple of issues but it was convenient contacting appropriate persons and were resolved in satisfactory time.

The house was awesome and convenient. The only things I would recommend keeping on site would be some gates to put at the stairs for the little ones. Also, the internet didnt really work the whole time we were there. Other than that everything was great

A very functional property for three families to share. Kitchen appliances could be updated as coffee pot did not work consistently and microwave had a broken handle. Otherwise, we would rent this property again!

We loved this place! We were there with 2 families (5 kids, 4 adults) and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing time in the mountains. We all enjoyed the hot tub as well as the game room and everyone had their own space. I do wish the property was a bit closer to town so that we could walk into town rather than drive. It is nestled in the woods which is nice. We even had a deer sighting which was awesome. You definitely need a car to get to/from the property. Other than that it was great!I would highly recommend this property to any large group wanting to escape to Breck for a getaway.

This property was perfect for our family of six. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out. They enjoyed the game room and had lots to keep them entertained. The views from the house were lovely and the location was great. The hot tub was one of the best features. All of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything was exactly as advertised. Spring Break

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for our 3 families with children. The only thing was that the dryer wasn't working and since we were there on a weekend there wasn't anybody to come and fix or replace it. We managed through with the washer and hanging clothes to dry but not the most ideal with children. The hot tub is under a covered area and has a view of the mountains which is amazing. We have rented a different house before with river ridge and I would definitely come back. When I called they were prompt and followed up with us a couple of times on the dryer and even offered to bring us more towels.

We stayed here for a family and friends weekend getaway. The house was amazing. We could all easily hangout in the main room and seating at the kitchen table was perfect. The driveway is difficult to get up in the snow without 4x4/AWD, so definitely recommend that. We had one car that had to park below because of the snow, but the walk up the drive is not bad. The house is not on the ski shuttle route, so be prepared to drive to the lifts (quick drive). Overall, this house was perfect for our weekend.

The right house for this vacation

This was the perfect house for our vacation. 7 adults, 2 small children. The home itself is gorgeous and very well laid-out. Plenty of privacy for the couples and the kids. With a large "great" room for dinners and games. The hot tub was a favorite evening activity for all! One day it snowed and we sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the view. Speaking of the view, the views from most every window, was amazing! The location, too, was perfect. Only 10 minutes from the downtown Breckenridge area. Yes, we would definitely go back!! This is a very nice, well equipped home with a beautiful view. Short drive "up" from Main St, nice hot tub, spacious, gas fireplace and a "pet' fox that visits the back windows. We loved our stay.

This house is very spacious and accommodating to a big group. The hot tub was a nice extra bonus as well. It's a few minutes to Main Street via Uber or Lyft for about $12.

Overall the house was great for our group. Lots of space and love that it was three levels. The adult kids loved the lower level while the adults liked the middle level. The driveway was a bit of a surprise as it was steeper than expected. Would I use HomeAway again, absolutely!

We were a group of 10 adults. This was our first time visiting Breckenridge, Colorado and this dream cabin definitely made our trip that much more amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The views from this cabin are breath taking. It is pretty easy to get to considering its a little high up in the mountain but still very close to town. About 5 minutes away. The cabin had everything we needed and is kept clean and up to date with the furniture, ect. We will definitely love to visit again and stay here!

Gorgeous, top notch mountain house

With so many choices in Breck, this was an excellent find! We were lucky enough to stay in this gorgeous house in June. It was very well appointed, extremely comfortable and just perfect for our group of three families (11 total). There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out together, or to find places off to be alone. Great hot tub, lovely views, and a fun hike (uphill) from the house to a clearing with gorgeous panoramic view of the mountain range. Location is close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough out to feel like you have your own private mountain escape. And the home itself is top-notch. We highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful and Outstanding

We stayed at the Moonstone Lodge for 7 nights and had an amazing time. Guests included two sets of grandparents, my wife, 3 year old son, and myself. The house had plenty of room for all of us and one room even went unused. Furnishings were high quality and amazingly comfortable. House came stocked with everything we needed down to shampoo and soap from Bath and Body Works. Views were spectacular and the hot tub and game room were huge hits. Very short drive to town which made you feel secluded yet close to everything you wanted to do. John, the maintenance manager was amazing and very helpful. We only met him because the hot tub went into lock mode which he had to undo for us. That was done within hours of my call and he was extremely polite. We all highly recommend this location and hope to stay again soon.

Moonstone Lodge was wonderful, impeccably maintained and perfect for our group of 10. The hot tub on the porch was a particular highlight. It's only a 5-minute drive to the town of Breck (restaurants, bars, grocery stores, ski rental shops, and the base of the Breck ski resort gondola), so it's the perfect balance between space and proximity. The rental company was very professional and responsive throughout the booking process, which gave me confidence throughout, and they helped us set up discount lift tickets and ski rentals. I look forward to returning!
