Favorite houe in Breck!

Our family has been going to Breck for the last 20 Years at least once a year. This was by far the best home we have ever stayed in. We are a family of 5, 3 adult sons and a dog. The house layout could not have been more perfect and there was beds for another 4 -6 more guests. The location should not be beat, we walked everywhere. The house was so charming. Classic historic charm but spotless and very updated. There was nothing they didn't provide. It sits at the end of a quaint street in a gorgeous, historic housing and park area. So easy with a dog. The house was outstanding, the Location was unbeatable. Cannot say enough about this home.

Wonderful Location and Adorable House

Stayed here with family while skiing Breckenridge. The location was amazing! We walked everywhere, to the market, restaurants, breweries, shops on main street, gondola... The house was cleas, adorable and fit 3 couples and 4 kids very comfortably. The property manager was very helpful and check in/out were very easy. We will definitely return!

We had a quiet stay. Getting to home was simple, with easy walk to town for food/coffee and the gondola (3yr old managed it in snow boots and snow pants). They were accommodating to our last minute need to bring our dog (dog friendly home). Only issue was the hot tub was out (not much you can do about it) and they couldn’t get to it until the last day of our stay. For the most part the house was very clean, just shows some wear from usage, some areas could have used a little extra dusting (baseboards mostly) and somehow a very large booger was missed on the master bathroom wall. Overall, a nice stay.

This was our 4th visit to Chalet Montagne, and we had another great experience. Home is located walking distance from Main street and from the gondola, at the end of a quiet alley. The home was clean and well stocked upon our arrival, and worked perfectly for our family, friends, and small dog. River Ridge staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend, and will be back in the future.

Great Location, Excellent Property Management

The property management company was extremely responsive. The hot tub, linens, and property were very clean and well kept. All light switches were labeled. All questions were answered before they were asked. Kitchen is ACTUALLY well stocked. We were very pleased with how this house was managed.

We were a group of 5 adults. The location of the house is excellent. Just a few minutes to walk to town. We are a bit lazy, so we also did Stables Reserved Parking in advance which made getting to the mountain super easy. The walk to the Gondola is a bit long with ski boots on, so we opted to drive, but its definitely walkable. Rental properties differ greatly in how they are cleaned, maintained, and the level of service you get. We could not have been happier with the management company, River Ridge Rentals. The house was spotless, every light switch was labeled, the linens were all white cotton and clean, the hot tub was crystal clear and sanitary. We had multiple visits to maintain the hot tub during our stay. Most times I read a post and it says the kitchen is "well stocked" I roll my eyes, however, there are a ton of small appliances and a variety of cookware so you really do not need to bring or buy anything. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Perfect size and location. Loved the coziness and family gathering space. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Communication with the accommodating property manager was so easy. Would highly recommend this for being in town Breck! Easy walk to shops and restaurants but super quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to slopes. Loved it.

A charming home in downtown Breckenridge

Our party had a short but pleasant stay at the Chalet Montagne. The layout of the house (2 roomy BRs & BAs upstairs, one BR & BA downstairs) was perfect for us. The management company was helpful and easy to reach with any issues. A short walk to the Carlin Tavern where we had a pleasant dinner. Easy drive to Broken Compass Brewery and Breckenridge Distillery (there is a tasting room just a short walk). Enjoyed the hot tub and on the morning of our departure, a moose and her calf dropped in to say bye! Note: there is plenty of cookware but not a lot of pantry staples in the kitchen. The house guide mentions this so be prepared to make a quick grocery run.

This house is cute as a button. Welll appointed and very cozy home feel. Kitchen gorgeous. Great water pressure. Plenty of towels. Kitchen well stocked. Host very communicative. VERY clean and I am picky on this point so the first thing I do is check for cleanliness. Excellent back area for our dogs to do their business. No complaints whatsoever. We’ll be back!

Love the house but gardeners were there 7 days a week very disruptive brought dogs off leash drove my fogs crazy and pooped all over the property. The construction project started last year at the end of the street was still in full firce ruining tranquility

Charming house in the historic district. We were within walking distance of downtown, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house was clean, spacious and relaxing. The property description was accurate regarding layout and amenities.The location is very convenient for skiing, shopping and just being a short walk to Main Street was such a treat when going out for meals, needing our skis adjusted etc it was great.The kitchen was fully equipped, laundry facilities were great and our children loved having their own space upstairs where they could hang out and watch Tv/play computer games after skiing.There were a few minor maintenance issues but customer service was fast and efficient.

The property description was accurate regarding layout and amenities.The location is very convenient for skiing, shopping and just being a short walk to Main Street was such a treat when going out for meals, needing our skis adjusted etc it was great.The kitchen was fully equipped, laundry facilities were great and our children loved having their own space upstairs where they could hang out and watch Tv/play computer games after skiing.There were a few minor maintenance issues but customer service was fast and efficient.

Our group was two families of four. Kids ranged from 16 to 11. The kids room with the double beds was perfect and they really enjoyed the time hanging out in the room. The bus to the gondola was a 1.5 blocks away which was great. Being right in town was perfect for us, as we like to go out most nights. Thank you very much for the accommodations. The home fit our needs perfectly. Cant wait to come back to Breck.

We were so impressed by this beautiful home. The layout is perfect and overall so spacious. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The amenities were over the top! The games, books, puzzles, and toys for the kids were amazing. There were tons of towels and linens and we felt we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was clean and fun to use at night. The location of this property is incredible. So close to downtown, easy to access and we appreciated the two parking spots. The view of the mountains from this property was to die for. The property management company was excessively helpful and communicative. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

So, this property is just amazing in all aspects. From the ease of renting, checking in and out, the parking, and all the things that can be hard, were just so so easy. It's close to town and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Then, the place -- It's wonderful and so well-appointed! We enjoyed main-level living, while our adult boys stayed in the upper rooms. There is so much room, it's so relaxing, and there was plenty of space to have friends over for an evening after skiing. The hot tub was perfect too! Not to mention, our little doggies were very happy and content and loved being with the family. I would highly recommend this wonderful house with the poetic and cozy mountain vibe.

We loved our stay at Chalet Montagne! This place provided a fabulous place to rest during our vacation in Breckenridge. It is well-appointed, clean, cozy, and charming. It is close to town, very quiet, and all of the difficult things were easy - check in, check out, parking. Keyless entry was great. Hot-tub was wonderful. Great place to work remotely for a month. Home is cute, clean and well stocked with better than average rental furnishings. There were 2 of us and 2 dogs. I believe it sleeps 11 or so, but I don't think you'd want more than 6 adults, or 2 families of 4 staying there = so 4 adults and 4 small children. Management company was very professional and responsive to questions or requests. House is located down an alley. So nice in that there's no street noise, but walking that alley was stressful when things froze up. Access to town is an easy walk, and we strolled to some fantastic restaurants. Access to mountain/chair lifts was not as convenient as we liked. While there are bus stops not too far away, icy alley dissuaded us from walking it in ski boots, so we drove to Peak 9 most mornings. Snow boarders would have an easier time walking to the bus stops or the gondola.Parking for 2 cars is right by house, so that was a bonus. Easy drive to City Market grocery store, or there are some markets that are an easy walk, but selection is more limited. Nice views from second floor bedrooms of the Breck peaks! Wish the hot tub had better views, but it was clean and therapeutic.

Overall a great place to stay. It was the perfect size for a group of 6+ adults and 2 dogs. I'm very particular about cleanliness and this place was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked as well as the bathrooms. We didn't run low on anything and we had everything we needed to cook 3 nights' worth of food . Hot tub was nice, room sizes were large. Went to Breckenridge for a week to work remotely and enjoy the changing leaves on the Aspens. The house is very comfortable and well-appointed. Only a few blocks from Main Street, so we walked to town many times for dining, happy hours and shopping. Highly Recommend!

Nice house within relative walking distance to everything. 10 min walk to the Gondola. Nice setup. My friends and I really enjoyed the property. Plenty of towels and supplies, a nice hot tub, and good location. It's can be a little difficult to find bc the address road it's listed on doesnt actually provide access to it. You have to go down a side street. Make sure to talk to the property managers beforehand.

A bit hard to find (use the alley entrance...seems like the back door relative to some of the other properties) but when you find it you'll be very happy. A cozy place with lots of character, space, plenty of sleeping options, and within easy walking distance of town. You can even walk to the gondola stop, just a couple more short blocks. Warm, comfortable, relaxing...just right! Some minor (normal wear and tear) issues with functionality but the management company was extremely helpful and responsive! Thanks!

This place was awesome. About a 2 minute walk to the closest restaurant/bar and 15 minute walk to the gondola. The house is in a quiet little residential area and perfect for what we needed. We rented this home for a last minute getaway and it was perfect. We were within walking distance to Breck's Main Street and an easy (and gorgeous) drive to Keystone for skiing. Had we skiied Breck, we wouldn't have had to drive at all. The place was very clean, spacious and warm. The hot tub on the back patio was welcome after a long day on the slopes. The kids' room had 2 sets of bunk beds, one of which was a full on bottom. We had two couples and a total of 3 kids staying so we had more than enough room. There was also plenty of space around the dining table for family meals. It was extremely clean and bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels. It was a really cute neighborhood and the kids loved playing on the snow drifts outside. It's set a bit off the street in a small cul-de-sac type of area, so the only cars that went through were from the people staying next door. We would definitely rent this place again.

The home is so lovely and convenient to town. We walked all over and visited shops and the Octoberfest that was happening! We didn't know the festival was going to be occurring when we booked the house, so that was another plus. The only problem we had was the screen on the patio door was not connected at the bottom and it only got worse while we were there. Otherwise, we certainly enjoyed out time and would love to stay there again.

Our stay was great! The house was adorable and in a fairly convenient location. This was our first time to stay in town and not on the mountain. We enjoyed being in the heart of everything. Loved that it was only a 2 block walk to the bus stop. We did walk to the slope one day, but honestly its a little far with all your gear on, so it was nice to catch the bus which takes you right to the lift! The only negative was that the water heater could not keep up with the demand. We had a party of 8 and after each shower the water would be cold. Also, we were only given 1 roll of paper towels, but plenty of other paper goods. We would stay at this property again. Bonus was we had a visit from a beautiful red fox each day. We enjoyed watching him!

Nice cozy home tucked away in quiet area of village. Management quickly responded to a Jacuzzi that needed servicing. Well stocked and furnished. Only rec is to add a few more comfy chairs or love seat to living area so more can sit comfortably. Thanks!

We really enjoyed the house and the location. Only caution....the hot tub is pretty tight with 4 adults. But the house is fantastic, great sleeping space, easy walk to town and the bus line, and having 3 bathrooms is a huge plus!

With every detail provided, the Chalet Montagne offered all that a vacationing family could need! The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked and thoughtfully provided with extras that a traveler may not have remembered to pack. The living and kitchen area made for great family time and housed two families very comfortably. Dipping in the outdoor hot tub on a freezing, cold day was especially memorable. Ideally located, we were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops easily. We look forward to returning to Breckenridge and staying at the Chalet Montagne!

Go ahead and slip into your cozy socks and get ready to relax at this charming cottage in the mountains! Our family of six (kids ranging from 3-10) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were never crowed yet found the home offered us ways to connect. We visited in the summer months and were able to enjoy the extensive backyard area that is shared by several cottages-- the neighbors were so welcoming that we were even invited to join in the 4th of July cookout! We walked to parks and into town for dinner and when the weather wasn't perfect we were able to play games in the living room and even enjoy the hot tub in the rain! The kids thought it was so funny! The homeowners have provided an exceptionally clean environment that promotes relaxation and family and fun-- for us it was a winning combination and we can't wait to get back!

I would stay again in a heartbeat. The place is emmaculate. Very comfortable living room and the kitchen is well equipped to feed a bunch of folks. The bedrooms are big and the beds are great. 3 blocks from Main Street keeps you in the middle of fun but without all the noise. Our family loved the stay.

Great place right in town!

We loved our long weekend at this home. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable; it's also quite a coup to find a home in town with two king beds! The kids' bunk room was also amazing. The property was sparkling clean, and we appreciated that things like paper towels, shampoo, and some staples (olive oil, salt, etc) were part of the basic provided amenities. The hot tub was lovely. Great fireplace and overall cozy vibe. Highly recommend, and will come back again if we have the opportunity. Management company is also incredibly responsive and great to work with.

The home's location in the Historical District added charm to the stay. The proximity to town gave us the chance to enjoy the different activities and dine with many of the Breckenridge locals.

Amazing house and location! It had all me needed and more. The property is nicely maintained and very clean. We had five adults and having three bathrooms was wonderful. One cannot beat the ability to quickly walk to town and restaurants. Love the Briar Rose! We would definitely booked this property again.

The Chalet Montagne was the nicest rental we have used in Breckenridge to date. It was accurate to its description, well-stocked and very convenient in its location to Main St. River Ridge Rentals was a pleasure to work with and most prompt in responding to any inquiries. We would definitely recommend this company and this rental home to anyone looking to stay in Breckenridge. Breckenridge is certainly the jewel of the Colorado Rockies. For cuisine we enjoy South Ridge Seafood Grill, Hearthstone, Twist, La Francaise, Empire Burger and Amazing Grace. In the summer, sitting by the river enjoying the sun, road biking through the mountains, shopping the great shops--Nature's Own is great--or just enjoying exploring the history of the town is all most memorable.
