Description

Fireside Lodge is all about location! Quickly get to the slopes by hopping on a green run from the backyard, or advanced skiers can use the ski in trail from Peak 10. Guests also have access to the complimentary Peak 1 Express shuttle that runs throughout the neighborhood in the winter months. Not only is the stop just a few yards from the home it also provides convenient transportation to and from town. 

The beautiful Lodge itself is thoughtfully designed with multiple families or groups traveling together in mind. The large chef’s kitchen complete with two dishwashers offers plenty of room to entertain and prepare meals for the entire group. Several en-suite bedrooms allow for privacy while the main living areas are perfect for gathering. Enjoy boardgames, foosball and shuffleboard in the game room, explore one of the hiking trails adjacent to the property, then take in the scenery while soaking in the hot tub or relaxing by the fire pit for a full day of on-site activities.

Perfect family vacation celebrating a wedding in town. There were 6 family units that all came together and had their own room for the week and it was the perfect amount of space. The kitchen was fantastic and very well stocked - we had a chef come in from Happy Cuisiniere and they were impressed with the kitchen (and provided us with a top notch meal). Being able to walk out the backyard and connect to hiking trails was another perk, especially coming back to relax in the hot tub. We had a few maintenance queries, and someone was over to help within an hour, very responsive and efficient! Next time I'm back in Breck, I'll definitely try to get this place again, or another from this River Ridge Rentals.

Wonderful stay! The house was gorgeous, immaculately clean, and extremely well furnished and supplied. We saw a moose, a bear, and multiple foxes. The kitchen was so nice we only ate out twice the whole stay - one lunch and one dinner. Really great in every way!

Practically Perfect!

First I must say that the pictures of this place do not do it justice. It seemed so much roomier and beautiful than the photos show, which was a very pleasant surprise. As with all houses, something is going to go wrong which one of the two disposals and one of the two clothes dryers had issues, but I just texted the property manager and they sent someone out right away to fix it. Josh came out and not only fixed everything, but gave us some "local" insight on where to go exploring and his suggestions did not disappoint. We also got to see wildlife from the back windows of the house - an adolescent moose was toying with a fox (or vice-versa) with both jumping all around in the clearing behind the house - such a treat to witness! We had a great experience and hope to be back with our family again. They have all voiced the same thing.

Spacious and well equipped

The house feels very roomy, great for a big group. The kitchen is well equipped, master bedroom bathrooms (3) are well above average. The fire pit in the back is great.

Great Escape from Florida!

The house is absolutely stunning and the views were simply breathtaking, just go ahead and book on that alone! Absolutely loved the gas fireplaces, I think there were 5 all together including in 3 of the bedrooms which was amazing for sleeping at night. The separate kid/lounge/game area on the bottom floor was fun for the kids and big kids alike. Here's a list of other things we loved... hot tub, heated garage and driveway, amazing kitchen with high-end appliances, steam showers and a huge open house with a ton of space and various lounging areas. The management company was super fast to address and fix any issues which is HUGE in my book as a Caribbean vacation rental property owner myself, I understand things get used and break but how those situations are dealt with set the rentals apart from others. Ski out was through a trail right out the back that leads to a green trail Lower Lehman which can get you to the Quicksilver Super Chair or Beaver Run Lift with a short 30 yard or so pole once down toward the base. We preferred the Beaver Run Lift as it puts you right towards the top of Peak 9 and we loved all those trails. Ski in is through groomed Black Diamond (Cimarron to Flapjack) and then a trail cut through the trees which also requires some poling depending on snow depth fresh or not. The shuttle is also essentially right outside the house and super convenient. We did both ski-in/ski-out and shuttle depending on time of day, snowfall and what we felt like doing. Point being, you have multiple options to hit the slope and get back. Bottom line, the whole family really enjoyed our stay in Breckenridge and at Fireside Lodge. We wouldn't hesitate in a heartbeat to stay here again and are actually working on planning our trip for next year!

What a beautiful home for our Christmas vacation for our group of 11 from Alabama. The views from every room are gorgeous. The game tables in the basement were fun for everyone. Plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen has everything we needed. The bus route stop was very convenient. I can not find one thing to complain about, We will be renting this wonderful house again next year!

We spent our annual trip with a group of friends at the Fireside Lodge. The home is wonderful with great views of the Breck ski slopes. There was plenty of activities for the kids in the basement and we spent a lot of our time around the two fire pits on the property. It's close to town, great for hiking and we even saw some wildlife in the backyard....highly recommend!

Had a great reunion with children and grandkids. Great location, lots of room to spread out and have some privacy. Lower level with 2 bunk rooms was perfect for the grandkids. Kitchen was incredibly well supplied. Our favorite activity was the South Park Museum in Fairplay. It was interesting to all ages, we highly recommend.We’ll be back!! RR Rentals is awesome!

Family ski trip for spring break and the place was incredible! Ski out was pretty easy and the shuttle back was much better than taking the bus in previous years as the shuttle is much faster with more pickups. House was gorgeous with 3 master suites and had everything we needed to have an awesome stay. Only complaint we have is that the owners are Nebraska Cornhusker fans and we are Michigan grads so we want it on record that we won the 1997 National Championship! Go Blue

Everything about the house itself was perfect. I would say the Ski Access was not the Ski-In Ski-Out that one might be accustomed to. Some trail skiing is required and not for the beginner or intermediate skier.

The house was perfect for my family and just as advertised. It was beautiful and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware and spices. There were a ton of board games for my kids to play with. We loved the space and being able to spread out. The steam showers and fireplaces in the bedrooms were a favorite! Check in/out was easier than easy! Communication with management was quick and helpful. 5 stars all around!

Tons of room & well stocked

Weve stayed at a lot of properties like this and weve never had such a well-stocked home. So many of the homes are nice but theres not a spatula to be found. This place had amazing appliances and everything you could need to cook or bake with. Our kids went in the hot tub every night and loved roasting smores by the fire pit. We loved the trails that were right in the backyard and its not too far from town. There was actually a bed for everyone and with 3 families staying together the two sets of washer/dryers and 2 dishwashers was amazing. We even saw a moose in the backyard one morning!

Was a great experience and stay. Couple things of note. Had issues with hot water. Would be hot one minute then turn instantly cold, or would not have any hot water at all at times. Was not a large use issue, this would happen when no one else was using the water and was very inconsistent. Also the outside deck area is completely overrun with ants. Could not sit out there without them crawling on you. The basement sink was clogged when we first got there, but the maintenance fixed it in the first day or two.

great home. Well supplied.Would recommend for family ski vacation.However did not adjust well to altitude sleeping at 10,000 feet.Needed O2 supplement.

The property was absolutely amazing.....we could not have asked for anything more. Fireplaces in every master, awesome bunk beds for the kids, and tons of games! The hot tube was an added bonus.....definitely needed after being on the slopes. It was also great to have a shuttle to take us to and from!

This was our favorite house we have ever rented on VRBO. It was beautiful, and super clean. We stayed with four other families and everyone had small kids. Even with everyone, it didnt feel crowded. A huge perk was they had EVERYTHING you needed to cook incredible meals at the house, including sharp and good knives (which literally no place ever has that we rent). It was right in front of some fun summer hiking and trail running on Burro Trail too!

We had a great stay; the house was perfect for a group with the large bedrooms and bathrooms. The ski n out was the best part; we really enjoyed the adventure finding the trail back to the house from peak 10. The shuttle stop location and quick access to town was great. We did not need to drive during our stay which was great during a busy event weekend. I would stay here again.
