Retreat at Lewis Ranch is defined by exclusivity and luxury. This 3-story chalet that comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests is in Lewis Ranch, the most prestigious gated community in Copper Mountain. Styled with high-end finishes and thoughtful accents the residence offers both comfort and convenience for every guest. A spacious chef’s kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare gourmet meals and provides full sight lines to both the dining area and living room. Another family room downstairs is ideal for gathering, good conversation, or a fun movie night. After a long day of activities head up to the private roof top hot tub with breathtaking mountain views, then settle down for the night in one of the home’s delightfully cozy bedrooms.

Located on the west side of Copper Mountain, the ski-in/out duplex-style chalet is near multiple green runs, Copper’s ski school, and the Lumber Jack, Highpoint and Kokomo chairlifts. Ski-in to the Lumberjack Lift, then head across an access drive and arrive at the home’s front door. Golfing, hiking, biking, go karting, horseback riding, white water rafting, fly fishing and many other activities are available during the summer. And Retreat at Lewis Ranch offers complimentary on call shuttle service that picks up on property and delivers to all points in Copper Mountain. Note that shuttle service is only available during prime dates - please check with your reservation specialist for more details.

Perfect Summertime Family Getaway

The home was absolutely beautiful! We were able to ski in, which was so convenient for eating lunches and taking breaks. Ski out is just a short walk to the Lumberjack lift. Private attached garage kept our vehicle warm, and out of weather. Great for unloading and loading luggage and groceries. The kitchen/dinning was beautiful with lots of seating and all the things we needed. The private hot tub was clean and fun. The bathrooms were updated and clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Retreat at Lewis Ranch is a beautiful mountain home with huge windows of glass to enjoy the view! Easy short walk to base of Lumberjack lift and if snow is plentiful you can ski back to house. Very spacious home, rooftop hot tube, great bedding and baths, fully stocked kitchen for cooking in, large dining table and bar seating. Our 3 generations - parents, children and spouses and 5 grandchildren totaling 11 deemed it our favorite place to stay at Copper. Rebooking with River Ridge Rentals for 2025- dealing with a local rental agency that is accommodating, efficient and top notch is fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat at Lewis Ranch. Although we had a few maintenance issues arise, they were taken care of right away! This was the perfect house for my family of 5 plus my parents and in-laws. The hike up the Lewis Ranch road provided great exercise, but the Copper Coach was wonderful when we didn't have the energy to walk back up. The grill was fantastic, the hot tub was awesome after a long day of hiking, golfing and mountain biking. We loved exploring the hiking trails just up the street. We can't wait to come back!

We visited Copper Mountain with our three children and their families. We had a great time with the grandkids and we had plenty of room for the whole family. We were near Leadville, Breckinridge and Vail and spent time in all three towns. The home was beautiful and perfect for our family.

This vacation home is absolutely beautiful. The owner of this home went above and beyond in making sure that the house was equipped with everything we needed and more. This home is very conveniently located near everything Breckenridge, keystone, Dillion, Vail I couldn't ask for a better location. Our six day vacation at this property was awesome. The space was more than adequate for the three families. The kitchen was supplied well with dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans and many small appliances . Top line appliances. The very large dining room table fit us perfectly.

Great location! Very few spots that would top this! The shower on the very top floor could use a little more pressure. Hot tub was a little dirty, initially. One of the night light cones in the living was cracked, and the middle floor bed should be replaced or fixed, as it has a nail sticking out of it. Otherwise, the place is pretty "first class."

This place has everything! We loved the fact that almost everything was heated. Very spacious place, we had 10 people stay here and everyone was in awe of the place. The hot tub was fantastic after a day of snowboarding. The only thing we were disappointed about was that we didn't get to experience a true ski-in/ski-out since Copper closed the Lumberjack lift for the rest of the season. We went on the last week of the season so it's not the rentals fault! We would definitely rent this place again if we come back.

The place is beautiful. It suited our families very comfortably. We love Copper and want to stay in this location again. We had one problem - we called maintenance about a bathroom door that locked one of guests in the bathroom at 1:00 in the morning. They promised to come fix it the next day -but did not.
We are so happy that you had a wonderful stay at Retreat at Lewis Ranch and that your family enjoyed Copper Mountain. We were sorry to hear of the issue with the bathroom door. Our Senior Maintenance Technician did come out to inspect the door, however the issue could not be fixed during your stay as we had to hire a local locksmith. The home was clean with ample room for a group of ten. The beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils and amenities to prepare multiple dinners during our week. The home was stocked with all needed paper products and laundry detergent. Home is in an easy ski-in location; however, there is a short hike uphill to Lumberjack and not a true ski-out home. This was known ahead of time and not a surprise to us. Overall, an excellent home.

Overall great,lots of bath towels but needed more hand and kitchen towels.Front door handle not working ( part ordered ) had to use garage door. A dresser or something in downstairs bedroom would be nice to unpack clothes. A beautiful place , would stay again and recommend to a friend.

Wonderful Place for Families to Spend Quality Time

Clean comfortable and extremely spacious family retreat gathering place. Floor plans are so well laid out that allows enough casual space for socializing or chilling after a long day on the slopes. The woodwork and dcor are an absolute great feel for a weekend Rocky Mountain lodge getaway. The chefs in our family loved the kitchen layout complete with professional appliances that provided great conveniences for our gourmet meals. The folks at River Ridge were so accommodating and followed up to ensure everything was fine. Hope to find this one available on future visits.

Great Summer Family Vacation

The home in Copper Mountain was perfect for our family of 13: ages 9 months and up. There was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was perfect, as we love to cook. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. We loved being able to congregate in the kitchen/dining/living area to spend time together and share cooking and cleanup. The Village itself is a charming place to spend time: the free lifts to great hiking, the bumper boats and bungee jumping, and some really nice restaurants. I have highly recommended it to my Oklahoma friends with large families - a great summer bargain!

Lovely Mountain Retreat

Our stay at Lewis Ranch couldn't have been lovelier. The house is stocked with everything you will need to make your time there enjoyable. The location is also wonderful - just a short walk into the Copper Mountain townsite and a short drive to Vail and Breck.

Beautiful, Luxury Home

This place is amazing! Nine of us fit comfortably and all the kids had the downstairs to themselves. A true vacation for mom! A full kitchen setup, BBQ, and a good sized dining room allowed us to have fun dinners with friends without feeling cramped. We could ski in and out from the house or call a shuttle from the village when needed. With nine of us, 3 competitors in a National freeski competition, 2 coaches, and the rest of the crew, all going in different directions this was key. To top off a great day on the slopes and dinner with friends we had a private hot tub with beautiful views. Our family has been visiting Copper in April for the last five years and I can't believe it took me this long to find Lewis Ranch. I already know where I'm staying next year.

The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Even the views outside the windows were exactly the same! Our time at this property was relaxing and fun.

Our first trip to Copper Mountain! We brought our 3 children and their spouses and our 6 grandchildren and we loved every minute of our time here! What a lovely house with such a beautiful view and relatively good access to the slopes! We plan to come again!

Love the steam shower, hot tub and 30 seconds it takes to get to lift.

Love this place. I went last year and went back this year because it was so great. Easy green for the kids to ski back into condo when they're exhausted at the end of the day...but also a quick ride up to the bowls in the morning. Fun!

Perfect Family Reunion

Tranquil setting! 14 of us stayed in luxury and comfort! Nicely decorated, new appliances. The floor plan is open and rooms are large. Three levels allowed us lots of room to spread out as well. Plenty of summer activities and beautiful views from 2 decks when we stayed in. Will definitely be back in the winter to take advantage of the close proximity to the ski lift!

Last year was my first time staying at this property. So impressed we returned this year and plan on making this an annual event. This house has ski in and ski out which is a must for me. The house is big and every detail is top notch. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room. Professional grade kitchen and outdoor BBQ grill. The hot tub on the upstairs porch that overlooks the mountain is the perfect way to finish a day of skiing.
