Rafting
Looking for a little adventure? Catch Class I, II, or III level rapids on the nearby Blue and Colorado rivers. Or take the short drive to Buena Vista and take on the challenging Arkansas river! Biking
Get out and enjoy the fresh Colorado air on a bike! Rent one to travel through the towns of Breckenridge, Frisco and Dillon, or take on the popular Vail Pass. Several bike outfitters offer a Vail Pass shuttle service to get you from Breckenridge or Frisco to the trail. Then just enjoy the ride back to town!
Alpine Coaster
Is speeding down a mountain more your thing? Catch the Goldrunner coaster running down the mountain at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. The elevated track twists and turns through the mountain terrain and is sure to be a hit with the speed enthusiasts in your group.
Golfing
Don’t forget your golf clubs. Summit County has five courses that will challenge you. Recreation Center
The Breckenridge Recreation Center can help you keep your workout routine intact and give the kids something to do. The rec center offers exciting classes like cycling, yoga, pilates and water aerobics to name a few. There is a fitness center with both free and machine weights for those wanting to get in a work out while on your mountain getaway. Keep the kids busy with a trip to the pool and the rock climbing wall. Other activities available include tennis, racquetball, basketball and a skateboard park.
Hiking

The rec center also offers guided wilderness hikes every Wednesday from June 13 to August 15. The hikes vary from easy to difficult and take you on a number of Summit County’s backcountry trails. Learn more about the facilities and programs offered at the rec center!

Horseback Riding
Explore the mountains by horseback with guided tours. Breckenridge Stables offers trail rides for riders of all ages and can accommodate guests with disabilities. Keystone Stables provides 1-hour horseback and pony rides as well as wagon rides.
ATV
Test your off-roading skills on your very own ATV or take a leisurely trip on horseback as you take in the sights and sounds of the Colorado Mountains. Out of Fairplay, American Safari Ranch offers ATV guided tours available May through October, as well as horseback riding.
