Summit County is known as ‘Colorado’s Playground’ – and that includes all ages! You can spend time in Summit County with (or without) the kids both on and off the slopes.

Frisco Adventure Park offers fun for the whole family, including a multi-lane tubing hill with a surface lift to get as many runs in as possible. The park also features a beginner’s ski and ride hill that is budget-friendly and offers lessons for first-timers. Looking for more of a workout? cross-country skiers and snowshoers can explore over 27 kilometers of scenic trails. The best way to end a day at the Frisco Adventure Park and Nordic Center is a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the winter wonderland!

If you’re in the Keystone area and looking for family-friendly activities, check out Kidtopia. Keystone’s headquarters for kids, families can enjoy fun for all ages including toys, crafts, and indoor and outdoor games. It’s the perfect place to take a break from the slopes and great for all ages. Don’t forget to check out the world’s largest snow fort, too!

When time is up at Kidtopia, break out those ice skates and take a loop around the largest Zamboni-maintained ice rink in North America. Keystone Lake is home to five acres of ice outdoor skating. Rentals are available on site.

If it’s time to take a break from the cold, head to the Breckenridge Recreation Center. A leisure pool, slides, and lazy river await you here – and is designed with safety in mind for even the smallest of swimmers.
