Summit County makes the perfect vacation spot for the whole family. From the young to the young at heart, you’ll find something everyone can enjoy!

Hiking in the Rocky Mountains doesn’t have to be intimidating. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Rainbow Lake. Accessible from downtown Frisco, this out-and-back trail is less than a mile, meandering through Aspen groves, lodgepole pines, and eventually ending at a beaver pond. Continue the hike all the way to Breckenridge on Miners Creek Road or the Peaks trail. Perfect for little legs and interesting wildlife viewing.

When the weather just won’t cooperate, head over to the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Enjoy the lazy river or lap the slide (for both kids and adults.) The leisure pool even has a zero depth entry, making it perfect for those unsteady on their feet.If you’re spending time at Keystone, Kidtopia has free family fun all day, every day. With movie matinees, bike races, face painting, crafts, bounce houses, tennis clinics, boat rentals and more, Kidtopia has something for the whole family to enjoy.

Cap the day with a relaxing, sunset Breckenridge gondola ride and take in the gorgeous Summit County scenery. The 7,592-foot long ride takes about 13 minutes from top to bottom and the top is a perfect location for family photos.

Fill up on family-friendly Peppino’s Pizza - a local favorite. We recommend ‘The Works’ pizza and an antipasto salad. Peppino’s also offers a kid-friendly menu for the pickiest of eaters.
