For those that like to work up an appetite before the big dinner, take part in the 6th Annual Turkey Day 5k in downtown Frisco. Race info and registration can be found here and all racers are encouraged to make a non-perishable food donation at the event, supporting the Family and Intercultural Resource Center of Summit County.

Looking for someone else to cook? Many restaurants in Summit County are open and happy to serve you on Thanksgiving. Blue River Bistro, Hearthstone Restaurant, and Keystone Ranch Restaurant are some of the highest rated restaurants in Summit County but be sure to book a reservation early - these hot spots fill up early!

For a more casual Thanksgiving Dinner out, Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company in Dillon will offer their regular menu as well as Thanksgiving specials.

If your plans include staying through the holiday weekend, Santa will be making several appearances throughout the county. Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Claus to Copper Mountain on Friday the 23rd. Celebrate the Lighting of River Run and family-friendly Winter Carnival at Keystone on Saturday the 24th.
