If you’re looking to enjoy the classic winter pastime of ice skating, Summit County has you covered! Pick out one of the many rinks, lakes or ponds to glide around on beneath the sunny Colorado skies!

The ever family-friendly Keystone Resort boasts two skating locations. In the heart of Keystone, Dercum Square is home to a 7,200 square foot rink offering a skating day and night. Admission is free, rentals are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Open 9 am to 9 pm. 

Prefer a more natural setting to show off your skating skills? Keystone’s 5-acre lake is open 9 am to 9 pm and offers a lap rink as well as hockey setups for a game of pick-up. It’s also the largest zamboni-maintained outdoor ice rink in North America! The adjacent Adventure Center houses a full bar, snacks, and indoor arcade. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids (ages 5 - 17), $5 for 4 and under.

Copper offers skating and rentals on West Lake, located in Center Village. Enjoy broomball equipment and hockey nets for pick up games, as well as fire pits to roast marshmallows for those not interested in skating. Open from 10 am - 9 pm, skates can be rented from nearby City Pop.

Picturesque Maggie Pond in Breckenridge is the perfect place to take in the scenery while getting your turns in. Skates of all ages and experience levels are welcome to enjoy this beautiful and accessible spot.

The Stephen C. West Ice Arena in Breckenridge offers affordable daily public skate for all experience levels on indoor and outdoor skating rinks. Rentals available on site as well as pick-up hockey games.
