The 8th Annual Turkey Day 5k through Frisco is the perfect way to work up an appetite! Fun for all ages, this quick run through the streets of Frisco and along the Summit County Recreation Path on Thanksgiving morning benefits the Frisco Elementary’s S.T.E.M. program. If you’re not interested in cooking, Summit County offers a wide range of dining options for the holiday. Enjoy a casual Thanksgiving dinner and get a taste of Colorado at local’s favorite Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company. Several of Summit County’s highest-rated restaurants host guests for Thanksgiving dinner, including Blue River Bistro in Breckenridge, Keystone Ranch Restaurant, and Hearthstone Restaurant – but reservations go quickly. Be sure to book ahead.

Start the holidays with a little cheer at the Welcome Winter Family Carnival and Lighting of River Run Village at Keystone. Dance, decorate, and stuff yourself silly at this family-friendly event at Warren Station. Make sure to visit Santa before the holiday tree lighting!

And of course, the best way to work up an appetite or work off dinner is to hit the slopes!
